The Sacrament of Confirmation is the final Sacrament of Initiation through which the baptized receive the gift of the Holy Spirit.

In the Diocese of Brooklyn candidates for the Sacrament must be at least thirteen years of age and have completed the necessary preparation through study and prayer. 

Children seeking the Sacrament of Confirmation must be registered in our religious education program.

Adult Catholics who have not yet received the Sacrament should inquire about the process for completing their initiation in the RCIA program.
