The Sacrament of Baptism is the beginning of the Christian life by which a person receives the forgiveness of sins and becomes a member of the Catholic Church.
Children seven years of age and younger can be presented for Baptism by their parents or another family member who is commited to raising the child in the faith. Baptism should not be unduly delayed.
Baptisms of children are typically celebrated following the 11:00 am Mass on Sunday.
Adults seeking Baptism should inquire about the Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults (RCIA) that prepares adults in anticipation of Baptism at the Easter Vigil.
